Long Hair Country Music Star – Tyler Hubbard

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard is a familiar face to country music fans, but his career as an individual artist is just starting. After 12 years with Brian Kelly in their groundbreaking country duo, Hubbard decided last year to part ways and embark on a new venture.

Tyler Hubbard began writing for various country artists, but now he is ready to show the world what he can do with his own songs. His debut album, simply titled Tyler Hubbard, is an 18-song collection that serves as the beginning of his journey as a singer-songwriter.

Recently, Hubbard spoke to WWD about his efforts in crafting his debut album. He took time to write each of its songs himself and collaborated with some of Nashville’s top hitmakers to produce it – creating a mix of country, pop and rock that will showcase his unique abilities as a songwriter.

Hubbard’s debut single, “5 Foot 9,” has already achieved over 90 million global streams and his second single “Dancin’ In The Country,” has seen 38 million streams and is rapidly climbing the charts.

When asked about the success of his first solo single, Hubbard replied that it “means so much to me that people are enjoying and having fun with this. That has been a huge motivator for me to get this out there.”

He has big plans for his upcoming debut as a solo artist, including the release of an album, extensive touring and hosting media-blitz events to promote the music.

Aside from his music career, he is passionate about health and fitness. Additionally, he supports local charities as well as global conservation organizations. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife Hayley and their three children.

Hubbard credits his mother, whom he raised with two different mothers, with instilling in him the value of kindness, selflessness and hard work. His mom is an inspiring example who always puts her family and others before herself.

His wife Hayley is a firm advocate of taking care of yourself and your family. She instills in her children that they are the most important part of life, making sure to make time for them each day.

Hubbard plans to devote himself fully to writing and performing in the future, while also taking time out for family time. He and his wife want to continue raising their kids while also enjoying outdoor activities and quality time together.

Hubbard and Kelley’s relationship has been fraught for years, with rumors of a split being commonplace. Despite their disagreements, they remain close friends – even going to therapy together. Their shared appreciation of music, as well as differing political ideologies, have lead to tensions over time. Hubbard tends to lean left on issues like gun control or Black Lives Matter while Kelley tends towards apoliticism.
