Chad and Erin Moving to Florida

Chad and Erin Paine have made it to Florida and are excited to show their fans around their gorgeous new home. Recently they uploaded a YouTube video giving viewers a full tour of the property as well as providing details about why they decided to move and how their first week has gone so far.

Erin Bates Paine and her husband Chad welcomed daughter Finley Marie Paine on Tuesday. This brings their total children count to five: Charles Steven IV (Carson), 6; Brooklyn Elise (5), Everly Hope (3) and Holland Grace (2).

The family had intended on moving to Florida so they could start a church, but that plan fell through. While they still wish to help with church planting efforts in some capacity, likely through another organization, their current situation has gone well: they’ve made friends in Florida while getting used to its weather; as well as visiting local restaurants and shops.

Erin and Chad Bates have an action-packed week preparing for baby Brooklyn’s arrival, while Erin heads off to Nashville in search of songs for her lullaby album. Meanwhile, other members of the family prepare for Alyssa’s wedding; Chad and Erin’s siblings come in town as guests to support them and host a surprise shower for Alyssa!

Gil and Kelly join their family in Florida for Thanksgiving, where they discuss plans to visit John and Alyssa. Eventually they discover that Erin has strong contractions. Will they make it in time to the hospital?

One thing you may be unaware of about the Bates family is their strong ties to Bill Gothard and his teachings, even after Erin has left IBLP. Even so, Lawson Bates has come out in support of Erin’s decision.

Erin and Chad’s family will prepare to relocate from Michigan to Florida on the upcoming episode of 19 Kids and Counting, visiting John and Alyssa in DeLand before celebrating Gil’s 50th birthday, decorating Kelly’s bedroom, redecorating it and finding out Alyssa is expecting!
