Tulsi Gabbard Swimsuit

U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard has been in the news lately for her swimsuit. Gabbard is a Democrat and once served as the Democratic presidential candidate for 2020. However, it is not her first time in the news. Gabbard’s recent divorce from her first husband, Eduardo Tamayo, is a reminder of the stress war places on military families.

Gabbard is a Hawaii congresswoman and a war veteran from Iraq. She was born in Leloaloa, American Samoa. She later attended Hawaii Pacific University and began serving in the US army. She later became a member of Hawaii’s house of representatives and Honolulu city council. She was first elected to Congress in January 2013. She is the first Hindu elected to the U.S. congress and was appointed as a representative from Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district.

Gabbard is a Hawaiian politician and former vice chair of the Democratic National Committee from 2013 to 2016. She then served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a field medical medic. She also served as an Army Military Police platoon leader in Kuwait. She has been a strong critic of U.S. military intervention and is an advocate of veterans’ rights. In February 2019, Gabbard announced her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.
