Starbucks 50th Anniversary Reusable Cup

Starbucks 50th Anniversary Reusable Cup

Starbucks is promoting their 50th anniversary with a free drink in a cup to commemorate the occasion. The company has also increased the rewards for using your own reusable mug. In the bifocals of the company’s coffee shop locations in Japan, you will get a a whopping 110 yen discount on your purchase of a mug.

Aside from the free reusable cup, there are a few other reasons to head on over to your nearest Starbucks. They have been actively working towards reducing their carbon footprint by sourcing their drinks responsibly and improving the livelihoods of farmers around the world. One such example is their research facility in Hacienda Alsacia, California. Not only is this a smart move for their business model, it’s good for the environment as well.

Another interesting tidbit is that you can find a cup that matches your personal style, courtesy of the company’s latest design initiative. You can find them in all shapes and sizes, ranging from the traditional round to the hipster-approved squared off shape. Also, while you are at it, you might as well check out their newest offerings, including the reimagined Tall and Grande lattes and bottled coffees. As mentioned, the company is also giving away a few dozen of its newest brews. If you have the patience to wait, you might also be lucky enough to spot a Starbucks employee in the throes of a latte art.

There is one downside to the Starbucks 50th anniversary mug. It is only available while stocks last. Unfortunately, it is not eligible for delivery or reloading your Starbucks Card. While it may not be a slam dunk, you can still take a shot at reclaiming your mug of choice with Starbucks’ handy dandy self-service kiosk. For the same reason, don’t bother stopping at the drive-thru.
