Adopt a Dog From Mutts and Meows Rescue Oregon

Adopting a dog is an immense responsibility and can be emotionally draining if you’re uncertain which breed would work best with your family. At Mutts and Meows Rescue Oregon, however, we want to assist you in making this important decision.

Our mission is to save dogs and cats from euthanasia by providing a secure environment, placing them in adoptive homes where they will be loved, cherished and cared for the rest of their lives. Furthermore, we educate people on animal welfare issues as well as promote responsible pet ownership.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in Oregon. Our board consists of two women with over twelve years combined experience working with rescue pets.

Some of the animals brought to us are sheltering in hazardous situations, such as near a busy highway or with neighbors who may be threatening them. With no access to food and confined to small spaces, we are always on the lookout for rescue partners that can provide them with a secure environment until they find their forever home.

If you are interested in adopting one of our stunning rescue pets, please fill out the application below and someone from our team will be in contact with you shortly.

With some patience and time, this sweet girl will make the ideal addition to your family. She has so much love to give and just needs a quiet home where she can call it her own!

She may be shy at first, but once she warms up to you she will love you forever. She enjoys playing with her toys and cuddling up for cuddles.

Cayenne is an adorable 10-lb. 1-year old who enjoys playing and observing everything around her. She’s a dilute (lighter) version of her sister Banana and would make an excellent companion for someone with patience who’s willing to give this little cutie a chance.

Her foster mom has taken great effort to teach her all of the essential knowledge for being a dog, so that she is content and healthy in her new home. She is very sweet and will wag her tail when you arrive at the door with meows or allow you to pet her when hungry or needing potty breaks.

If you would like to meet Cayenne, please come by the Hope Center during our adoption hours or contact us at info@hopecenter.org for further details.

She is heartworm positive, but we will provide you with a complimentary medication.

She deserves to live an enriched and long life; if you are willing to provide her the best possible environment, then she will become your new fur baby!

She can be adopted through Oregon Dog Rescue, a non-profit 501(c)(3) that strives to place dogs in homes where they will thrive and receive the love they deserve. Based in Portland, Oregon, they have a no-kill policy.
