Mickey and The Roadster Racers are computer animated cartoons aimed at preschoolers. The plots always involve a race. The characters turn their cars into racers, and they work together to defeat their opponents. Even the villains don’t seem bad; they are just confused and caught up in the moment. This popular cartoon series has spawned several diecast vehicles.

In the popular series, Mickey drives a hot rod inspired by a Model T, a type of hot rod popular in the early 20th century. Meanwhile, Minnie drives a more elegant automobile inspired by 1930s French cars. Some fans believe the two cars are identical, while others insist that they are two different cars.

The series’ success helped it be renewed for a second season. It was a big hit with little kids and moderately popular with older viewers. The first season ended on March 23, 2018. The second season began on April 13, 2018 and ended on August 2, 2019. Mickey and the Roadster Racers is back on DStv Channel 309 on Saturday, 22 April, at 9:30am.

The Roadster Racers have undergone a series of changes since its initial release. First, it was known as Pete’s Super Crusher, but this soon changed to Mickey’s Roadster. It now sports a re-painted and enlarged Mickey wearing a hot-rod driver’s suit.
