Mahan Village Dental Care – Committed to Infection Control

The Mahan Village Dental Care team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of infection control. These standards include traditional CDC and OSHA requirements. In addition, they also employ additional precautionary measures (PPE) such as a mask and hand washing stations. During your visit, you may also be asked to take your temperature, wash your hands, and call for payment afterward.

Free Dentistry Day

Mahan Village Dental Care adheres to strict infection control procedures. It meets traditional CDC and OSHA guidelines and may require patients to wear extra protective equipment (PPE) such as a mask. Patients are also encouraged to take their temperature and wash their hands prior to and after dental treatment. After the appointment, they should call to make payment.

The day also features a volunteer clinic where community members can get free dental care. Volunteers will provide one service per person. They will begin seeing patients at 7:30am. Volunteers will provide fillings, cleanings and extractions to the first 100 patients.

Invisalign treatment

Mahan Village dental care is committed to infection control procedures and adheres to traditional CDC and OSHA requirements. Patients may be required to wear additional PPE (personal protective equipment) during their visit, such as a mask, or may be required to take a temperature. In order to avoid transmission of germs, patients should wash their hands before and after their appointment. Patients should also call and make payment after their appointment.

Invisalign is a great way to straighten your teeth without braces. Unlike metal braces, these clear plastic aligners are virtually invisible. They are also made of BPA-free plastic, which makes them comfortable to wear.

Zoom! teeth whitening

Mahan Village dental care is a committed partner in infection control, and their teeth whitening procedures adhere to traditional CDC and OSHA standards. Patients are required to wear protective PPE, which may include a face mask. They are also expected to take their temperature and to thoroughly wash their hands after the appointment. Payment is expected at the end of the visit, so it is recommended to call after the appointment.

The Zoom! teeth whitening process uses a special bleaching gel to whiten teeth dramatically. This treatment is completely safe, and does not involve dentin bleaching or tray methods. Coffee, smoking, and the aging process can cause teeth to become discolored. With this treatment, your dental team uses a 25 percent hydrogen peroxide whitening gel that will quickly remove stains and discolorations. Your teeth will look noticeably brighter after the procedure and, with proper care, the results will last for years.

Night guards prevent contact between upper and lower teeth

Night guards are oral appliances that help prevent contact between upper and lower teeth while you sleep. They are custom-made for you based on an impression of your teeth. These devices are also available with holes so that saliva can flow freely through them. They can also help you keep your teeth healthy by neutralizing the acids in the mouth and preventing plaque and cavities from forming. Before you start wearing a night guard, visit a dentist to discuss the best type for your needs.

Many people suffer from bruxism or teeth grinding at night. This condition can result in cracked tooth enamel, jaw pain, and headaches. Additionally, it can affect the alignment of your teeth and change your facial structure. Fortunately, night guards are among the least invasive treatment options for this condition. These mouthguards prevent contact between upper and lower teeth and offer a cushion to reduce jaw pain and discomfort.
