Madison Beer’s New Single ‘Boyshit Dress’

Madison Beer has made waves in music since her initial upload of an Etta James cover “At Last” to YouTube as a 13-year-old in 2012. She quickly attracted media attention, garnered Scooter Braun’s representation, and went on to release her debut album Life Support that year, reaching No 1 on iTunes charts with her signature vocals recalling those of Lana Del Rey and Ariana Grande while calling attention to toxic masculinity that damages relationships – her new single ‘Boyshit’ calls this out and asks men to take responsibility for harm caused by them within relationships!

Musically, Madison’s song is tight and infectious – an ideal setting for her captivating lyrics and powerhouse vocal performance. Furthermore, this addition to Madison’s growing catalogue of flawless pop hits showcases her versatility while showing that she may soon become one of pop music’s next great stars.

She previously released songs like ‘Blue,’ ‘Effortlessly,’ and ‘Default’ that capture the emotional toll of heartbreak; but with “Boyshit,” she unleashes another side to her artistry and makes an important statement about toxic masculinity that still pervades media coverage and our culture.

With its pulsating beat and rhythmic guitar riff, Madison’s song will capture your attention upon first listen. However, its lyrics will leave you wanting more from Madison; their raw and vulnerable delivery takes aim at the idea that women must fix and accommodate men – these lyrics are honest yet poignant in ways rarely heard in popular music today.

As part of her Vevo LIFT campaign, Madison released a live performance video of “Boyshit”. This platform’s artist development program spotlights today’s freshest talent; previous participants include Billie Eilish, Halsey, Jorja Smith, Khalid, YUNGBLUD and CNCO among others. Check out Madison performing it above; she wore an ensemble from British fashion label Burberry featuring matching cropped jacket and cigarette pants along with bustier-style bralette adorned with their signature checked print fabric; Stuart Weitzman Anicia pumps in black patent leather.
