If you are a fan of the popular reality TV show Catfish then you may have heard of the name nev schulman. He is a popular television personality and photographer who has gained fame for his work on the show.
He was born in New York City, New York, United States and is of mixed heritage. His parents are unknown but he has a younger brother named Ariel.
Ariel, who is an actor and filmmaker, helped his brother launch a photography creation company when he was just 19 years old. He is also a founding member of the Young Leadership Committee for the Leave Out Violence Youth Organization.
As a young man, he studied dance and became interested in photography. In 2004, he started photographing the ballet scene in New York and also got involved with the contemporary ballet community.
Eventually, he and his brother began their own film and photography production company. He is best known for his role in the 2010 documentary Catfish and the follow-up MTV series, Catfish: The TV Show.
When he was still in high school, he attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York and later got expelled for punching a female student. He also went on to study dance for two years and then took up photography as a hobby.
In 2010, he was in the process of starting a relationship with a woman he met online. The relationship soon turned sour and he realized that the girl was not who she claimed to be. He ended up returning to her house and realised that she had created an intricate web of lies using Facebook accounts from up to 15 different people.
He eventually caught on to the whole ruse and started to investigate her. However, when he arrived at her house, she told him that she was not the girl who sent him paintings.
At that time, she was in a treatment centre and she had been making up stories about her. She also said that she was a former drug addict and had lied to her family about the whole affair.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that she was only pretending to be the girl to get money from her friends. Ultimately, she had to go to jail for her crimes.
She has since married Nev Schulman and has two children together. Their first child is a daughter called Cleo James and their second child is a son named Beau Bobby Bruce.
He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 73 kilograms. He is white in complexion and he has an athletic body shape.
In addition to his TV shows, he also hosts a Facebook Watch series called “We Need to Talk” where he and his wife field questions about tough relationship problems. The couple also share their own advice on how to handle these issues.
He is a native of New York and was born on September 26, 1984. He is of German-Jewish, Russian-Jewish, and Romanian-Jewish descent. He is currently residing in Los Angeles, California.
