Margot Robbie As Dazzler

Margot Robbie As Dazzler

If you’ve been following Margot Robbie, you know that she has a knack for making every character she plays feel alive and unique. Whether she’s playing Sharon Tate in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” or Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, it’s clear that the Australian actress knows how to energize her role and give it depth and gravity.

It’s no secret that Robbie has a great relationship with comic book characters, especially when it comes to Marvel. After all, she’s a huge fan of the comics and was the first Marvel star to appear in a mainstream movie like The Avengers.

She’s also one of the most popular comic book actors around and she doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. Her latest movie, Birds of Prey, was released in March and it’s already spawned some pretty wild fan theories.

The best thing about the film is its cast and the performances it delivers. It’s led by Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, a character she played for the first time in 2015’s “Suicide Squad.”

As her second film under director Cathy Yan, “Birds of Prey” follows a fractured narrative that rewinds and fast-forwards to put audiences in Harley’s shoes. The dizzying narrative structure works best when fueled by the sociopathic gleeful energy of Robbie’s performance as Quinn, whose glitter-loving anti-heroine is forced to reinvent herself in the wake of her dissolution with the Joker.

While it’s impossible to predict which way Birds of Prey will turn, there’s no doubt that Robbie’s magnetic performance will make fans of the comic book heroines sit up and take notice. She is a natural for the role, and she delivers a memorable performance that evokes the spirit of the comic book heroes that inspired her.

It would be a long shot to see Robbie take on a character like Dazzler in an X-Men film, but that’s not to say that she won’t get the chance in the future. If you look closely at this photoshopped image, created by m.design34, you’ll find that it’s a pretty good representation of what Robbie could look like as Dazzler.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Dazzler, she is a mutant hero who has the ability to transform sound into light. She can use it as a weapon against her enemies or simply to light up the world.

Despite her lack of popularity or screen time in most X-Men films, there’s no denying that Dazzler is a character that deserves to be seen more often on the big screen. With her stunning beauty and her flamboyant style, she’s certainly the kind of character that Marvel needs to make sure it gets right.

She only has two appearances in the X-Men movies, Dark Phoenix and Avengers: Age of Ultron, but she is still one of the best-known comic book characters to ever exist. If a major star like Margot Robbie were to play her, it might just be the perfect time to bring this lesser known mutant into the MCU.
