Dax Shepard is a comedian and film actor who has made his mark on the comedic scene for the past 20 years. He has since starred in cult favorites like “The Ranch,” “Bless This Mess,” and “Parenthood.” Recently, he married fellow Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell. While they haven’t announced plans for a second child, they’ve hinted that they’ll be having one. In fact, they’re already the talk of the town.

A recent appearance on the red carpet with his wife revealed that he had another tattoo. This time, it was a ring finger tat. It’s no secret that Shepard isn’t a fan of jewelry. So it’s no surprise that he didn’t go all out and slap a diamond in the shape of a bell on his left ring finger. But this ring-sized piece of art actually stands out as the newest tattoo on the star’s arm. And it’s not just because it’s a ring – the small bell that sits atop the ring’s band is also an homage to his wife.

The fact that he went the extra mile and got a ring-shaped tattoo in honor of his wife is a bit odd. Considering that he doesn’t wear a wedding band, it’s surprising to see that he went the extra mile to honor his bride-to-be with a ring-shaped tat. Fortunately, the ring-sized thing is actually the tiniest of the three dazzlers that he has on his arm.

For all the hype surrounding the ring-sized Dax Shepard tattoo, there’s no mention of the other big tat he’s had on his arm. That’s because he’s covered up his previous tattoo with an enormous tree on the right side of his arm. However, his new tattoo is an attention-grabber – and the most fun he’s had in the spotlight. As a matter of fact, it was visible at the premiere of his latest film, This Is Where I Leave You.

Of course, this isn’t to say that Dax didn’t do the tat-o-toon. There is a slew of ink on his body, including a pierced knuckle, a tat on his left ankle, and even a small cross-flags emblem from a Corvette. Even so, the ring-sized piece of artwork he got for his wife is definitely the coolest tattoo he’s gotten to date. Perhaps he took it as a symbol of his devotion to the actress and filmmaker he’s married to, and it’s a sign that he’s willing to go above and beyond when it comes to his marriage.

One thing to keep in mind when it comes to the Dax Shepard ring-sized tattoo is that he probably got it for the same reason he did the tat-o-toon – the novelty of showcasing the smallest and most clever version of the same thing. He’s also probably ignoring superstition when it comes to tattooing his significant other. Thankfully, his latest tat is a clever ode to his wife and their 17-month old daughter, Lincoln.
