David Cruz on a Walk of Faith

David Cruz, a renowned social media star, took to the streets in March to raise awareness about his faith in God. Starting near where his grandmother lives in Pennsylvania, he will eventually make it all the way to Miami.

He’s been making stops in various cities across the country, such as Columbus, Smiths Station and Dothan. Now he is headed for Florida where he wants to make one last stop in Cottonwood before crossing into Miami.

His journey is guided by the belief that God has a plan for him, and he must trust in that plan. Additionally, he insists on not taking anything from anyone because it would undermine his dependence on God.

Cruz has overcome all obstacles faced with cerebral palsy to make an incredible comeback. As a senior communications student at Crown College and talented baseball player, Cruz also serves as president of their college chapter of the American Association for People with Disabilities (AAPD).

In addition to his schoolwork and athletics, he has a deep-seated passion for music. He often listens to hip-hop and rock music while relaxing or focussing during downtime, with hopes of one day pursuing a career in the industry.

He has always been an upstanding representative for those in his community and serves as an inspiring example of what can be accomplished when done right. When not volunteering, he’s part of the American Association of Police Detectives and also volunteers with non-profit organizations like CASA and SAAF.

His passion for San Antonio is evident, and he loves sharing its beauty and history with visitors to the area. He encourages them to make the most of everything this vibrant city has to offer and encourages them to take advantage of all it has to offer.

David Cruz is immensely proud to be part of the River Walk Royalty Program. He considers it a great honor and hopes that he can continue to spread awareness about this remarkable place.

Cruz overcame his childhood struggles by finding God’s will for him. He quit drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes and marijuana and became a vegan.

His life has undergone a dramatic transformation, and he feels transformed. No longer do he struggle with negative emotions like he used to, his days now filled with positive experiences.

He has found that God will guide him where he needs to go, and he’s determined to take advantage of every opportunity that comes his way. No matter the obstacles, he’s sure God will provide a way for him to reach them. And so he is determined to do whatever it takes in order to succeed.
