The dealership will be located at 4130 32nd Avenue and will have about 400 pre-owned cars for sale. The new location will employ about 20 people and will feature a car wash for customers.

Wenzel recently purchased Jim Waldron’s Buick GMC dealership in Grand Rapids. Currently, he owns three Todd Wenzel used cars dealerships in Michigan: Grand Rapids, Hudsonville, and Genesee County. The new location will include a new body shop, more space for customer waiting areas, and more amenities.

Todd Wenzel grew up in Wyoming, Michigan, and began his career in a Grand Rapids car dealership. He rose through the ranks and soon set his sights on owning his own dealership. In the early 1990s, he was recruited by GM in Portland, Maine, where he eventually worked his way to the position of finance director. From there, he moved to Connecticut and bought a Chevrolet Oldsmobile Cadillac dealership there. However, he soon returned to West Michigan.

Locations

Todd Wenzel is a Michigan-based automobile dealer. He purchased his first Chevrolet dealership in Maine in 1994 and has since expanded his business to include several dealerships in New England. In 2001, he returned to his native West Michigan to establish a top-ranked Buick GMC dealership and the third-largest Chevrolet dealership in the state. The son of a GM employee, Wenzel first set his sights on owning his own dealership after high school.
