4th of July Events in Sterling, KS
Sterling, Kansas offers several 4th of july events for families to enjoy together. From participating in a parade to enjoying free concerts and watching fireworks displays, there’s something special for everyone at these exciting celebrations!
On July 4, the City of Hutchinson has a packed schedule of family activities planned at Riverside Park. A dunk tank, duck race, splash dash, corn hole tournament and more will take place before fireworks at 9:45 p.m. Additionally, they’re hosting a family picnic with Grace Arbor neighborhood association as part of their summer events program.
Mulvane is celebrating the 4th of July with a parade and family social. In addition to food, there will also be a kids’ sand volleyball competition and street dance. Plus, enjoy free swimming at the city pool plus karaoke will be available!
Blue Lake, Kansas
Each year the small town of Blue Lake hosts a Fourth of July event that begins with pancake breakfast and includes 5K run, kids’ fishing derby, frog race, pie-eating contest, dunk tank, street dance and fireworks at dusk.
Ness County, Kansas
Prairie Dog State Park is celebrating their Sesquicentennial with music, sports and games; as well as a BBQ, watermelon feed, historic reenactment and mule wagon rides. To cap off the day off with fireworks over the lake at nightfall.
Kidron Behel Village will host a grand 4th of July celebration along the banks of Kidron Reservoir. Guests are sure to enjoy live music, exciting amusement rides and an impressive fireworks show!
Anthony will host a grand July 4th celebration this year. The festival includes various activities and events like a cornhole tournament on Sunday and fireworks display on Monday.
