Should I Start Josh Allen

Should I Start Josh Allen in DFS?

Despite a slow start and a disappointing week, Josh Allen has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks of the year. He has an arm that is capable of cutting through elements and a cannon-like rushing game that can make him a top option in DFS. The Bills have a strong defense, too, allowing fewer fantasy points than any team in the league. This should allow Allen to lead the Bills to the Super Bowl in the AFC.

However, Allen didn’t play the best game of his career against the New York Jets. His passing grade was below average, and his rushing grade was mediocre. But he had a couple of touchdowns, including a 49-yard pass to Stefon Diggs in the fourth quarter. Additionally, he finished with a season-high 366 passing yards. Even though he threw a couple of turnover-worthy passes, he still ended up with a 100.0 passer rating when clean.

It’s hard to say whether or not the Indianapolis Colts are a good matchup for Allen. However, the Colts have been giving up a lot of pass yards and have had five interceptions over the last four weeks. Plus, they have given up two of the most valuable fantasy points of any team to quarterbacks. That might be enough for Allen to pick up his first win of the season.

In his career, Allen has run for over 1,200 yards and scored more than 14 touchdowns in two of his four seasons in the NFL. Those numbers are only 135 yards and six scores away from his all-time best rushing totals. If he can add even a few more touchdowns, he’ll become one of the most important fantasy quarterbacks in the NFL.

With a game in Miami this weekend, Josh Allen has a chance to put on a show and capitalize on his passing and rushing production. While the Dolphins aren’t a great defense, they are a tough matchup for any quarterback. They have been the eighth-best defensive team in the NFL by total pass yards allowed. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have also been the fourth-best by rushing yards given up.

Josh Allen’s performance against the Dolphins in the two meetings is proof that he isn’t a terrible opponent. In fact, he has an impressive 704-6-0 record against them. Furthermore, he is likely to benefit from a snowy weather game. Also, with no skill position players on the roster with injury designations, the Bills have a full complement of weapons to work with.

However, the question remains: should Josh Allen be the starter this weekend? Until then, it’s hard to know who the best fantasy quarterbacks are for Week 13. After all, he’s a gunslinger who can make the most of his legs, but he may not be able to withstand the pressure of the Miami Dolphins.

Still, if you’re looking for a QB that is both a gun-slinger and a runner, look no further than the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen.
