Sarah Dunleavy
Sarah Dunleavy – Assistant Swimming Coach at Cal
A native of western Pennsylvania, Dunleavy was a three-year assistant swimming coach for the University of Kentucky where she worked with athletes who broke 16 of the school’s 20 women’s records. In addition, her athletes qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials, and she guided the Wildcats to their first Southeastern Conference championship in 16 years. In addition, Dunleavy also handled the academic side of the women’s program.
Dunleavy graduated from UNH and joined the athletic department. She worked as an intern in the athletic department. She worked with alumni and coaches to increase the program’s donor base. She also works for the Seacoast Science Center where she has worked with many stakeholders. She oversees corporate and philanthropic events, as well as renting events for the center. The athletic department is fortunate to have her.
Sarah Dunleavy, who has resigned from her role as assistant coach at Cal swimming, will pursue other interests including coaching. She will continue to be involved with swimming, but will focus on her other passions. Sarah Dunleavy’s background in collegiate swimming and as a recruiting consultant for multiple nationally-ranked programs will be an asset to her future success. Dunleavy has a number of honors on her resume. The California swimming program has a national championship and several NCAA events.
