Jack Gleeson and Roisin O Mahony Wed on Saturday in Ireland

On Saturday, Jack Gleeson, star of Game of Thrones, wed longtime girlfriend Roisin O mahony in a low-key ceremony held in Ireland. Their pictures showed them holding a pink bouquet as they exchanged vows inside a small church in County Kerry, Ireland.

Gleeson rose to global fame on “Game of Thrones” in 2011, where his character was killed off and he went on to star for four seasons. In 2014, however, he announced his intention of taking a break from acting and focusing on other pursuits in life.

He has since returned to acting, appearing in a play based on the book To Be a Machine at an independent theater and the 2020 BBC drama “Out of Her Mind.” Additionally, he is set to co-star alongside Liam Neeson in Netflix’s “In the Land of Saints and Sinners,” due out next year.

Gleeson’s new wife, O’Mahony, is an accomplished comedian and actress who has been working in the entertainment industry for several years. She’s one half of Roisin and Chiara, a comedic duo that has been performing their shows around the globe since 2010.

Their comedy has received glowing reviews from audiences around the world and been featured on many major television networks. No matter if it’s live on stage or broadcasted, their incredible performance style and comedic approach never fail to captivate an audience.

They have been together for eight years and reportedly got engaged in May of last year, though they chose not to announce it publicly as they wanted it to remain a private moment.

O’Mahony, a fiddle teacher for the Irish Traditional Music Project (ITMP), has taught thousands of people how to play their instrument over two and a half decades. She is widely regarded as an “icon” in her field.

She is also a founding member of the Inishowen Traditional Music Project, dedicated to preserving traditional music in her homeland for many years.

In addition to her acting career, O’Mahony has directed several comedy projects and Jo Griffin’s Miss Honey at the Edinburgh Fringe for Assembly’s online program. Additionally, she wrote and co-produced various TV comedy mini-series.

O’Mahony is currently based in London, working as both a theatre artist and writer. Her work has been showcased on stages across the United Kingdom and Ireland, including the Dublin Theatre Festival.

As of 2019, O’Mahony is considered to be in her late twenties and was born on February 18, 1998 in Cork, Ireland.

On August 27, a small ceremony was held to honor film celebrity Jason [Jack] Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church. Parish priest Father Patsy Lynch shared some photos from the nuptials on social media platforms, praising its simplicity, prayerfulness, and dignity.

In the photo below, O’Mahony is wearing a dress featuring an intricate pattern in pastel colors. Her face looks lovely as she smiles at the camera holding a bouquet of flowers and her hair neatly tied back with a scarf. Her makeup is flawless and she wears an exquisite ring on her finger. Additionally, she sports beautiful pastel-colored heels for added effect.
