Regal Cinemas is an American movie theater chain with over 540 locations in 38 states. Publicly traded on the NYSE, this popular cinema chain operates predominantly suburban markets and has the most geographically dispersed footprint among major theater chains in the US.

Cineworld will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 15. Cineworld cited revenue losses due to coronavirus pandemic as justification for closing 39 US theaters, including Gallery Place Stadium 14 theater in Downtown D.C. as well as Bowie Stadium 14 and Rockville Center 13 cinemas located in Maryland. Closures will begin next month.

This theater may not be as large and bright as bigger “mall” theaters, but it remains clean and offers an enjoyable viewing experience overall.
