Horizon Hobby Introduces NASCAR RC Kits

If you’ve ever watched a NASCAR race, you’ve probably seen the RC car that was featured in the Living Portrait of Dale Earnhardt Jr. commercial. The Monster Truck in the commercial was a RC model made by Horizon Hobby. A few years ago, Horizon was a major sponsor of RC racing events.

Compared to watching the real thing, racing with a HPI kit is an affordable way to get into the racing scene. The race fees are typically less than a night out at the movies, and track membership is cheap (around EUR5 or $10). You can also meet other race fans and learn more about cars.
