Michael Dubb has gained fame for many reasons. He has been a member of the board of directors of the New York Racing Association (NYRA) and a champion racehorse owner. He has also earned recognition for his charitable work. In addition, he has won a number of prestigious awards.

Dubb was born in the United States. He received his education at Wheatley High School in Old Westbury, New York. As a young man, he worked at a clothes business. Later, he was employed in the real estate and construction industry. But after a series of difficult jobs, he was forced to find another way to support his family.

He was then enrolled in college and earned an additional degree. In 2004, Dubb won a David Award for his service to the community. During the same year, he was appointed by the New York State Senate to the New York Racing Association’s Board of Directors. He is currently the Associate Trustee of North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. Having started his career at the claiming level, he has built a stable of over 80 horses. He assigns each horse to a trainer based on its strengths. Then, Dubb looks for a way to maximize its performance.

He has won seven year-end NYRA owner titles. His top racehorses include Monomoy Girl and British Idiom. These horses have won numerous Grade 1 races. The former is also a multiple Eclipse Award winner, while the latter has been campaigned for the Florida Sire Stakes. In addition, he owns Uni, which is now a possible starter in GI Four Star Dave.

He owns horses in partnership with eight different trainers, including Servis. He has a total of around 100 horses. He owns several horses in domestic and international partnerships. Dubb plans to move these horses to other trainers, but has yet to do so. He has also invested in a number of yearlings at various sales.
