Kendall and Kylie Slides Are a Knockoff of Chanel’s Slides

While the collection isn’t exactly cheap, it does offer some items that are actually quite affordable compared to other celebrity fashion lines. For example, the ‘Abi’ heel high is $139 and the ‘Brooke’ mini satchel is $295. That’s a pretty reasonable price for an upscale, contemporary bag.

But the prices don’t stop there – the shoes aren’t cheap either, and that’s where things get interesting. One pair of slides recently dropped from the Kendall + Kylie collection, and it looks like they might be a knockoff of Chanel’s slide-on shoes.

There’s no doubt that these slip-on shoes look pretty modern – but as one person pointed out, they’re almost exactly like the chainmail Shiloh slides from Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection (and that’s even if you take a side-by-side look at the two pairs). The only thing that the Kendall + Kylie version differs from Chanel’s is the rope detail woven through the gold chain on the latter.

It’s not the first time that designers have ripped off other brands – and it won’t be the last. And if the Kendall + Kylie brand’s target customers are the young, hip, and trendsetting women who are influenced by their younger sister’s social media posts, then this particular shoe might not be too exciting for them.

In any case, it’s not the end of the world if these slides aren’t for you – they’re still an adorable accessory to have in your wardrobe! The shoes are available in neutral colors, and come in a variety of sizes to fit just about any foot type.
