John Stamos is a beloved star on television, as well as Broadway. He has played numerous roles while also being an accomplished drummer, musician, producer, singer and producer. Stamos has participated in multiple projects as a drummer/percussionist/producer/singer; winning numerous awards and nominations – three Emmy nominations to date! – and earned himself the reputation as an extremely versatile entertainer.

At 15, Stamos informed his parents of his ambitions to pursue acting and music as a profession. Though they operated a fast food restaurant that required him to help out after school and on weekends, they supported their decision and helped facilitate it. Stamos first made waves as Blackie Parrish in General Hospital; subsequent major roles followed in film and television.

He continued to delight audiences through his various television and movie roles, most notably as Uncle Jesse on Full House. Additionally, he has appeared in films like Big Shot, You, ER and Grandfathered as well as portraying various roles on stage such as Gore Vidal’s political play “The Best Man”, Roundabout Theatre Company’s Bye Bye Birdie and Cabaret productions.

Stamos is best known for his acting work but also is an esteemed drummer, having joined The Beach Boys since 1985. Additionally, he hosts various talk shows and serves as an ambassador for Childhelp.
