Willie Nelson and Jessica Simpson Go All Out For Halloween

The Halloween season is finally upon us. For many people, this is a time for trick-or-treating, but for Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson, it’s an opportunity to dress up as their favorite country superstars. This year, they did just that, and fans took notice. In fact, Jessica Simpson’s Willie Nelson costume is the best looking of all the ones she has worn to date. It includes a colorful paisley shirt, super-short daisy dukes, and the American flag headband. She also wore an acoustic guitar and patriotic leather boots, which helped her achieve the full effect of her outfit.

Jessica Simpson is a longtime fan of Willie Nelson, which is why she took the time to spruce up her look for Halloween. Not only did she shave her blonde hair for a faux-Willie-Nelson effect, she also donned a beard and a guitar strap in honor of her old pal. Along with their costumes, the couple took a shot at impersonating Clark Griswald and Christie Brinkley in National Lampoon’s Vacation.

Although Jessica and Eric Johnson are not the first couple to sport a pair of cowboy boots and a beard, they were the first to show off the most important item in the Halloween lexicon. They also posed with a guitar in the name of all that is holy, and it turned out to be the most memorable thing they did on their night out. Their kids have been known to get into the spirit of the season, too, so expect more costumes and trick-or-treating in the near future.
