Initial D Car Model
If you’re a fan of drifting games, you probably have some interest in the Initial D car model. The game has a wide variety of cars to choose from, but the selection in this game isn’t limited to just Japanese cars. There’s even an AE86 model and a truck, the Toyota Sprinter Trueno.
Toyota AE86
The Toyota AE86 is an internal code name for the fifth generation Corolla with a 1600cc engine. This car is a front wheel drive (FWD) model and has a white and black paint scheme with black alloy wheels. The model is a popular showroom stock car and was also a popular circuit and rally car. While in production, the AE86 made a few cameo appearances in movies such as The Fast and the Furious.
The AE86 had a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that produced 128 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. This engine was highly tunable, making it useful for motorsport. Most AE86s featured a five-speed manual transmission, though a few were also available with a four-speed automatic transmission.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a mid-size sporty car that was introduced to the market in Japan on March 3, 2005. It was exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show the same day and the New York International Auto Show the following month. It features a new engine with MIVEC technology and a revised turbocharger design. Its top-of-the-line GT model adds full-time all-wheel-drive and torque vectoring technology.
The Evolution III and Evolution IV were used for the television anime series Initial D, and also made an appearance in the film Who am I? where it starred Jackie Chan. The GSR version had a more luxurious interior that featured Recaro seats.
Subaru Impreza
The Initial D Subaru is a Japanese car that is featured in the popular Street Racing anime series Initial D. This particular model is owned by Bunta Fujiwara and first appears in the seventh episode of season four. The car is black and has black interior. In addition to the black exterior and black interior, this model also has wheels that move when assembled.
This model is based on the Subaru Impreza, which was first introduced in 1992. Its serial production began the following year and is still ongoing today. It is made in the city of Ota, Japan.
Toyota Sprinter Trueno
The Sprinter Trueno is one of the most iconic cars from the Initial D series. It is used by Takumi Fujiwara in the game, for delivery runs and for racing. It also features in the Final Stage, and appears on a significant amount of merchandise.
The car was manufactured between 1983 and 1987. It was available as a coupe or liftback. It had a front-engine and rear-wheel drive. Its design featured fixed headlights and a twin-cam engine with an oil cooler. Its front suspension was MacPherson strut and it had near 50/50 weight balance.
Toyota MR2
The Toyota MR2 is a two-seat mid-engined rear-wheel-drive sports car. It was produced from 1984 until 2007 and has been produced in many different trim levels. The first model was marketed as the MR2, while the second generation MR2 was released in 1989. The MR2 G-Limited was the higher-spec naturally aspirated model. It featured features such as steering fog lamps and electric folding mirrors. The car was also equipped with a rear spoiler.
The Initial D car model features a panda-style livery and a monochrome body with a forged 4-A-GE engine. It also features several Japanese-market components, such as a Fujitsubo exhaust system and a Cusco strut brace. The car also has a silver-painted engine cover and yellow-tinted fog lights.
