Gone Girl 2 Release Date

Gone Girl is a psychological thriller based on the best selling novel by author Gillian Flynn. The film was directed by David Fincher, who has also made such movies as A Most Violent Year, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Alien: Covenant. Other main cast members include Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, and Rosamund Pike.

Gone Girl is a dark story about a couple’s disappearance. Nick Dunne reports that his wife Amy is missing on their fifth wedding anniversary. Upon hearing this, the police are called. When they arrive, they find that there has been a struggle in the house. They investigate and discover that Nick is the prime suspect. But if he is not involved in her disappearance, then what has happened?

In addition to the plot, Gone Girl contains some surprising twists. For one, the fact that it has been adapted from a novel is a major accomplishment. Another is the clever way the author handled the female-female relationship. This was evident in the character of Amy. While Amy may not be as nice as she claims, she is willing to put up with some nonsense to win back her husband.

However, Gone Girl is no slouch when it comes to the thriller genre. The novel was adapted into a movie, which earned multiple awards. It is a dark movie with some genuinely scary scenes.

The sequel, or a prequel, has not yet been officially announced. However, a sequel has been speculated. Gone Girl 2, as the name suggests, is based on the Gillian Flynn novel of the same name. One of the most notable changes is that the film is set in Missouri instead of New York. Nevertheless, it still looks like a promising follow-up. And even though there are no official trailers, the movie did have a successful world premiere at the 52nd New York Film Festival on September 26, 2014.

Of course, no Gone Girl sequel will be complete without a mention of Rosamund Pike’s character, Amy Dunne. The actress’s performance in the movie is Oscar worthy. She is able to show both the psychopathic side of her character, as well as her complex psyche.

While it is not a secret that Gone Girl has been a success, there have been plenty of questions about the sequel. Some of them revolve around the possibility of a Nick and Amy reunion, but also the potential of a child. If that does happen, then the sequel would have a lot to do with the future of the Dunnes’ family.

Gone Girl was a surprisingly good movie that offered a few big twists. Ultimately, it is a dark story that is a must see. Hopefully, this film will be a part of the cinematic history books. Thankfully, it is a great start to a series that could be an entertaining and thought-provoking experience for audiences.

If the cast and crew of Gone Girl are able to work together again, then there is a very real chance of another sequel being commissioned in the near future.
