Genesee Career Institute

Genesee Career Institute provides comprehensive instruction in a variety of high-demand, high-wage careers. The institute’s programs and courses prepare students for entry into the workforce and post-secondary education. GCI offers college credit to students who take classes and programs. Students can benefit from the most up-to-date technology at the institute. Its mission is to educate the whole community through its programs. The institute offers a variety programs for students in grades 9 through 13.

Genesee Career Institute is located in Flint, Michigan. The institute offers hands-on training in seven high-demand fields. The program is free and is supported by a $4 million grant from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s job training initiatives. Students can choose to take classes during the day or at night, depending on how they work.
