Fatal Car Accident in Kissimmee Yesterday

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal car accident that took place near Kissimmee yesterday. The accident involved a 2017 Kia, which collided with a hotel. The driver of the Kia was unidentified, but another person was injured and taken to the hospital.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 12:38 p.m. on Pleasant Hill Road. Traffic was stopped for several hours while the crash investigation was conducted. The crash took place at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Pineridge Circle, which is between Harbor Road and Grenada Boulevard. A woman driving a Toyota Camry was attempting to turn left on Pleasant Hill as a Dodge Challenger was traveling south. The crash involving the two vehicles resulted in the death of the 62-year-old woman.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident, one of which was driven by Deborah Edge, a 51-year-old resident of Kissimmee. One of the vehicles struck Edge’s vehicle when she changed lanes. The other vehicle struck Edge’s car and sent it off the roadway. It then hit a concrete pole, killing the driver.

The crash happened near the Orlando International Airport, causing major delays. The crash closed several streets and forced 125 flights to be delayed. A channel nine news crew saw people stuck in traffic trying to get to the airport from the city. The Land Rover was carrying four people when it ran off the road and flipped over into a canal.
