Duneland Ymca Child Care

The Duneland Family YMCA Offers a Variety of Child Care Services

The Duneland Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of child care services. Their programs focus on developing a healthy mind, body, and spirit. They serve nearly 5,000 people annually. In addition to offering child care services, they also provide outreach programs and events to the community.

Digital PMA is a powerful spatial analytics tool that allows YMCAs to better understand their service area and its members. It also provides leadership with valuable data for marketing and capital planning. For example, the Duneland Family YMCA used the data to map its service area and identify key demographics of the community.

The YMCA offers several babysitting and child care courses that can help caregivers provide quality care while keeping children safe. The first one, Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR, is a one-day course designed for students in grades six to eight. The course includes role-playing activities, manikins, and fun games to help students learn CPR and other life-saving skills.

Parents can also make use of the Fun Zone, an area dedicated to the active development of children. Kids can spend hours playing in an enclosed, safe environment while parents can take care of work and other activities. A YMCA child care membership includes access to the Fun Zone, which is open to children from six weeks to nine years old. However, the parent must stay in the building at all times while their child is in the Kids Zone. Parents must also make reservations to use the Kids Zone.
