But the Heroes actress has recently been seen out and about without either her baby or Wladimir Klitschko – smoking cigarettes instead – causing fans to question the health of her marriage.

Hayden Panettiere was seen sitting on a NYC stoop smoking and reading her book with both hands full on Monday (July 4), dressed in plaid shirt, blue tights and Ugg boots – and without her engagement ring, prompting some concern that their relationship might have fizzled out as soon as their daughter Kaya is 19 months old!

Panettiere has been candid about her struggle with postpartum depression, as well as her journey back into health following addiction issues. She is determined to take care of herself so she can be the best mother possible to her daughter.
