Chick-fil-a Lemon Kale Salad Coming Back

Chick-fil-A’s Lemon Kale Salad Coming Back

Chick-fil-A is back with their popular lemon kale salad, marking a major milestone for the fast food chain. This limited-time entree is their first national salad offering since 2016 (and their first with warm grilled chicken nuggets). The salad features romaine lettuce, kale and shaved parmesan cheese as well as lemon Caesar vinaigrette dressing and lemon Parmesan panko topping that comes on the side.

Experience Chick-fil-A’s Grilled Nuggets on a bed of lettuce and kale with shaved parmesan cheese and lemon wedges in this new springtime twist, the Lemon Kale Caesar Salad! Available for a limited time on their national menu starting April 26, it is freshly prepared daily in Chick-fil-A restaurant kitchens.

Jennifer Cook, Chick-fil-A’s executive chef, said the salad pays homage to fine dining and more sophisticated tastes while still being quick-service friendly. The citrusy citrus flavor of lemons really brings out the kale and parmesan flavors in this salad; she suggests guests squeeze the lemons over both for maximum enjoyment.

This salad is ideal for anyone trying to shed pounds or simply wanting to eat healthier food. It’s low in calories and packed with beneficial nutrients like fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

It’s also low in sugar, which is important for those with diabetes or other medical conditions that cause increased sugar intake. Making it a great option for lunch or dinner will leave you feeling full and contented.

Make this recipe ahead of time and store in an airtight container with a lid for up to 3 days or freeze for up to one week. If freezing, don’t add the dressing until after storage; this will prevent it from wilting too much and making the salad unappealing.

For a nutritious and flavorful version of this recipe, use only premium ingredients. Choose an established brand of salad dressing such as Ranch to ensure its rich taste and freshness; additionally, buy your kale whole rather than pre-shredded in a bag.

For a healthier alternative to this recipe, swap out the chicken for vegan cheese. Additionally, you can omit the dressing or use a lower-calorie version. Kale can be substituted with Swiss chard or spinach to get similar benefits at lower calorie counts.

Chick-fil-A is set to launch their Lemon Kale Caesar Salad on Monday, April 26. This salad is the chain’s first with warm grilled nuggets and it comes with a zesty lemon Caesar vinaigrette dressing for an easy meal prep experience.

Nutrition facts aren’t available yet, but this is an ideal option for those seeking to be healthier and eat more greens. It can serve as a substitute for fried chicken sandwiches on white bread and provides ample sources of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
