Wind River Cares Expands

Wind River Cares has increased its space to 5,000 square feet. This allows it to expand its medical services as well as create up to 40 jobs. The new clinic has a capacity to treat up to 3,000 patients annually. The clinic is run by Wind River Family & Community Health Care, which serves the Northern Arapaho Tribe. CEO Richard Brannan says that the expansion will improve the quality of life in the community.

The Wind River Cares clinics are located in Riverton, Ethete, and Arapahoe. They provide services for the whole family, including dental and orthodontic care for children and adults, as well as behavioral health and wellbeing. They also have an in-house pharmacy. There are several specialty clinics available, including podiatry and colonoscopy.

The clinic has expanded to provide services previously unavailable to the community. Wind River Cares also offers health care and a childcare center that can accommodate 270 children per week. Parents who are not employed can use the childcare center for help in finding permanent employment. This program is designed to provide a safe place for their children.
