Olivia DeJonge – Everything You Need to Know

Olivia DeJonge continues to impress as an actor on Netflix series or alongside Tom Hanks in movies. Born April 30 1998 in Melbourne and having Dutch and Irish ancestry, DeJonge began acting at age nine as part of local plays and commercials before moving onto more prominent roles such as her latest role as Priscilla Presley in Baz Luhrman’s forthcoming Elvis biopic – here’s everything we know so far about her.

Olivia DeJonge was raised in Peppermint Grove, where she participated in local productions as a child. Acting was always something that interested her; she would often put on shows for her family and enlist his participation as part of the cast. By age 14, Olivia decided to make acting into a career; by then, TV commercials and short films had already started coming her way, leading to signing with an agent in America – before eventually landing her first major film role with M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit – which was met with much praise by fans everywhere.

Since then, she’s gone on to appear in more movies and television series, with several more projects scheduled in the near future. She is also an advocate for female equality in the workplace, making clear her desire to avoid gendered typecasting when selecting roles – something which has carried through to her career choices as she’s actively sought roles that allow her to break free of stereotypical “girlfriend” roles.

No surprise then that DeJonge is an outspoken feminist. She owes much of her success to female trailblazers who came before her, such as Nylon’s quote above from DeJonge: she credits them as being responsible for raising her with feminist ideology that continues infusing her work today.

DeJonge may receive criticism online and in person; however, her community remains strong and supportive of her. When responding to critics online or in real life, DeJonge often addresses them directly or makes light-hearted jabs at them but never allows their comments or behavior get under her skin.

As for her personal life, DeJonge has kept a tight lid on her dating life. Though she has been linked with several people in the past, she currently seems focused on building up her career rather than finding love again anytime soon. We can only wait to see what else DeJonge has in store!
