Updates on Young Dolph Death

Young Dolph was a Memphis-based rapper who was murdered last year. He was known for his depictions of life on the streets. The rapper was also known for his independent approach to music and business. In addition to his musical talents, he also donated thousands of dollars to high schools across the country.

When he was killed, Young Dolph was visiting a bakery in South Memphis. It was there that he was shot and killed. His death came a week after a shooting in Houston, Texas, which claimed the lives of two people.

Shelby County prosecutors said that Young Dolph was murdered in an organized conspiracy by four men. Prosecutors believe that Hernandez Govan recruited two other men, Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith, to carry out the murder. As a result of the murder, Young Dolph suffered 22 gunshot wounds.

Govan is being charged with first-degree murder and a felony charge of attempted first-degree murder. Jermarcus Johnson is also accused of helping to conceal the crime and evade the authorities. Meanwhile, Shundale Barnett is being charged with an accessory after the fact. All four suspects are being held in the Shelby County Jail.

According to the West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center, Govan was a person of interest in the case. He had been wanted for the crime for several months. However, he had been released from prison in July. Since then, he has been arrested on multiple occasions for theft.

According to court documents, Govan had a lengthy criminal history. He was found guilty of aggravated assault in April 2008. He pleaded guilty to a third charge of aggravated assault in May. Finally, he was sentenced to three years in prison.

Govan was not at the scene of the shooting, but his family has been informed of his arrest. In addition to the first two charges, the court records show that he was arrested on June 20, 2021, for a third felony charge of conspiracy.

Young Dolph’s death was the latest in a string of high-profile killings in Memphis in the past year. Other victims include Nipsey Hussle, Takeoff, Pop Smoke, and XXXTentacion. This is a tragic time for Memphis, where violence has been on the rise. Several city officials pointed to the rapper’s death as a symbol of violence and police presence in areas of town.

Memphis Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the male victim in the drive-by shooting, but the rapper was known to be a resident of Atlanta. He was scheduled to hand out turkeys in his old neighborhood today.

Until the investigation into the murder of Young Dolph is concluded, it is unknown what happened to the other suspects. Shelby County prosecutors have indicated that they will hire a public defender to represent all the defendants. They also say that Govan solicited the murder.

The grand jury has indicted Govan on first-degree murder charges, but he has pleaded not guilty to those charges. If he is convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
