Troy Millings Net Worth and His Partner Rashad Bilal

A recent study by the Federal Reserve showed that the median net worth of African American families was $24,000. For a group of Americans that has been disproportionately affected by the Great Recession, this is a slap in the face. Thankfully, Troy Millings and his partner Rashad Bilal have a hand in putting a dent in that blight. By educating their community on the art of financial stewardship, they hope to usher in a new era of prosperity and resiliency.

They’ve launched a number of initiatives including the Earn Your Leisure (EYL) University, which is a curated collection of over 30 courses. In addition to the EYL, the duo also signed an agreement with iHeartMedia’s The Black Effect podcast network. Earlier this year, they also launched a tv show called Assets Over Liabilities with Revolt. Their mission is to inspire and educate African Americans to achieve the American dream by avoiding the pitfalls of affluence.

To be fair, the EYL is just the latest in a long line of worthy recipients. However, the duo are a force to be reckoned with in their own right. As such, the pair have garnered thousands of followers and fans alike. On top of that, they have produced some of the most entertaining and informative content you will find anywhere, be it on the Web or in the form of their eponymous podcast. After all, who can resist a good old fashioned pop-up quiz, especially one that has been deemed the best by a handful of discerning listeners?

The duo also created the Market Mondays (the market Mondays?) tv show and its companion podcast, which have been gaining momentum since the start of the year. Besides producing a plethora of entertaining and educational content, the pair have also managed to make their mark on the mainstream media. Not to mention the fact that they have been able to make themselves a significant part of the broader Black and Latino population by forging partnerships with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Having said that, they have remained true to their own brand, avoiding a corporate takeover or merger a la CBS or Disney. Nonetheless, they have managed to rake in a healthy swag bag in the process, courtesy of their celebrity guest list.

It’s not every day that you see the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade, and Mark Cuban on the same podcast, but the duo manages to keep the aforementioned swag a close-knit affair.
