Transformers Dark of the Moon Police Car

The Decepticon police car from Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a vehicle with the capabilities to turn into a police car and pursue the Autobots. The Decepticon’s appearance is similar to a Washington, D.C., police car. The police car is mostly cast in dark metallic blue plastic, with black wheels. The cover for the cabin section and the doors are painted white. The windows are black. The lightbar at the top is red on the left side and blue on its right. One of the lights is missing. This is most likely a factory error. The 911 numbers are also found underneath the doors of the police car.

This car is the Decepticon Barricade, and will be familiar to Transformers fans. It was based upon the 2007 Saleen Mustang S281 Extreme. A total of three robotized Ford Mustangs were built for the movie. One was used as the screen car and the other two were used as press cars. One of these vehicles is currently up for auction at Mecum’s Eddie Vannoy Collection sale. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the auction to be postponed.
