The Road Home Piano

The Road Home is a solo piano for intermediate players. It can be purchased either as a paper score, or digitally downloaded from Subito Music. It contains SSAA voicing. This piece was written by Stephen Paulus, a Minnesota-based composer who frequently collaborated with poet Michael Dennis Browne. The title track of the road home features an arrangement of Prospect, a shape-note hymn tune that was first published in Southern Harmony 1835. Paulus wrote a new version for The Dale Warland Singers in 2002. Paulus died in 2014, just a few short years after the recording of the album.
