Skeet Ulrich Meet and Greet 2021
Skeet Ulrich, star of Scream, is an accomplished actor with numerous acting credits to his name. He’s featured in several popular films such as Scream (where he portrays Billy Loomis) and Riverdale (on CW television), where he portrays Forsythe Pendleton “F.P” Jones II).
His most iconic roles include a young boy searching for his father’s long-lost dog and a police officer hunting down an insane storm chaser. Additionally, he starred in Supercell, a thriller about a teenager following in his dad’s footsteps on storm chase tours who gets quickly involved with the tornadoes they are chasing.
He is an accomplished musician, having played the drums in Metallica since its formation. Married twice and father to two children, his career spans over three decades.
Ulrich began playing the drums at age six, and has a passion for both classical and pop music. Through practice and dedication, he was able to craft an impressive repertoire; writing a song for their album entitled “Anthem.”
Growing up in the 1990s, Ulrich wasn’t particularly fond of horror movies due to his experience with “The Exorcist”. But his big break came when he was cast as Billy Loomis in Wes Craven’s 1996 slasher flick Scream – where he plays Billy Loomis, a high schooler obsessed with horror films who becomes the main suspect in several classmates’ murders.
At the time, Craven and director Kevin Williamson broke away from traditional slasher movie tropes by brutally killing off their biggest stars. It is this style which cemented Scream’s place as a cult favorite and continues to remain so beloved 25 years after its release.
He has been an active participant in the Hollywood community and supports numerous charities and organizations. Additionally, he belongs to the Screen Actors Guild and has received multiple awards for his work in film and television.
As of July, Ulrich had been cast as Detective Rex Winters on NBC’s Law & Order: Los Angeles. Previously, he has starred in the comedy “Tango” and crime drama “Chill Factor,” featuring Cuba Gooding Jr. Additionally, Ang Lee directed Ulrich in “Ride With the Dev.”
The CW’s Riverdale recently underwent a creative revamp, with Season 3 episode “House of the Devil” revealing that FP (Ulrich) has been released from prison and is ready to reclaim his life in Riverdale. Reunited with his friends, Ulrich will soon be making a return to the town of Riverdale.
In a promotional video for the show, Ulrich expressed his enthusiasm about the new season and is eager to bring back some familiar characters. He told People that he’s “very thrilled to be part of this new chapter.”
His next film will be Supercell, which follows the story of William Diemer, a teenager who runs away from home and joins a storm chasing tour. As he and his new partner Roy (Ulrich), venture into this dangerous world of storm chasing, they become caught up in the tornadoes threatening the area.
