Roberts was born November 23 in Tuskegee, Alabama. Currently she resides in New York City.
She first began her career in Mississippi’s WLOX and WDAM radio stations as a sports reporter before transitioning into television in 1990 with ESPN hiring her as host of its Sportscenter news program for several years before moving onto Good Morning America.
