New Kids on the Block Revealed on Good Morning America

The ’80s are making a triumphant return, with Led Zeppelin, The Police and The Who all enjoying reunion tours; now New Kids on the Block have also reunited for an appearance and interview on Good Morning America.

NKOTB made their debut performance of their new single, “Bring Back The Time,” alongside Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue on Thursday’s (April 24) episode of Good Morning America. Their music video for this song also premiered that day – paying homage to iconic 80s music videos with nods back towards NKOTB’s “Boys In The Band” video as directed by John Asher who has previously worked with NKOTB; featuring members recreating iconic 80s songs as well as their respective music videos from that era alongside guests from their guests recreating iconic 80s songs with their accompanying music videos from that era’s hit shows that made their name so iconic!

As part of their performance and interview, NKOTB members took a unique step by surprising viewers with an exciting announcement: NKOTB’s summer headlining tour — The Main Event — will include special guests TLC and Nelly as special guests, plus they teased that additional artists might join them during this tour, which kicks off May 1 in Las Vegas.

NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg made sure to pay tribute to popular boy bands BTS and One Direction when talking about their new song, “Boys In The Band”. He claimed that NKOTB was heavily influenced by these groups in their lyrics.

NKOTB are set to kick off their Mixtape Tour this month, bringing along many hits. Their single “Bring Back The Time,” has already made waves on the charts and fans can buy tickets through NKOTB’s website.
