One Tree Hill Actors and Their Families

One Tree Hill fans watched with fascination as its young stars navigated rocky friendships and love triangles on screen for over a decade – as audiences watched them transition from teenagers into adult actors. Although the show ended in 2012, many cast members have found success outside the spotlight: several are married while others are spearheading their own projects.

Chad Michael Murray, best known for portraying Brooke Davis’ on-screen love interest Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill, married Sophia Bush in 2005 before they separated two years later and Murray engaged to another One Tree Hill crew member Kenzie Dalton before it ended last year. Since then he’s been dating Sarah Roemer who he met while filming Chosen; together they recently welcomed their first child.

He is best known for his role as Coach Carter on Moesha and its spinoff The Parkers; for which he earned both a Golden Globe nomination and Critics’ Choice Award win. Additionally, he directed more than 50 episodes of One Tree Hill before moving onto become a regular cast member on Netflix original series Lost in Space.

He’s set to star as a villain in The Fate of the Furious, scheduled for release in February 2021.

Antwon Blake first rose to fame playing the lead character in Coach Carter, before going on to star on One Tree Hill and various television series like CSI and Grey’s Anatomy. Since then he’s appeared in Netflix original series like The Punisher as well as its followup, Stranger Things 2.

Hilarie Burton made waves as part of One Tree Hill’s iconic love triangle between Chad and Sophia, but has also recently made headlines due to her activism within the Time’s Up movement as well as roles on Chicago P.D. and movies Acts of Violence and Incredibles 2. She has had several romantic relationships in the past before marrying entrepreneur Grant Hughes last November.

Hilarie and Robert share two children together whom they frequently post photos of on Instagram. Prior to One Tree Hill, Hilarie appeared in several TV series such as Life Goes On and The Secret Life of the American Teenager; additionally she made several film appearances such as The Wrestler and A Madea Christmas.

From 2003 to 2012, she played Peyton Sawyer on One Tree Hill, but perhaps most notable for her appearances in movies and television shows such as Dawson’s Creek on CW Network. Additionally, she is known as an advocate of Time’s Up movement while appearing in films like The Fugitive, A Madea Christmas and Fortress.
