Is Blair St Clair Transgender
Is Blair St Clair Transgender?
If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race then you probably know who Blair St. Clair is. But, what you may not know is that she’s a transgender singer/dancer and cross dresser. Besides, she’s also the first contestant from Indiana.
Well, she might not have won the trophy for the most spectacular performance, but the contestant has certainly risen to the top of her game. After all, this is a transgender queen, so it’s safe to say that she’s made some pretty big moves.
In fact, she’s been open about her identity on the Internet for quite some time. And she isn’t the only queen on the show who’s open about her sexuality. Bianca Del Rio, Kerri Colby, Kornbread “The Snack” Jete and Willow Pill have all made their gender identification a part of their public persona. As a result, she’s received a lot of backlash.
She has also been accused of being an oblivious lesbian. This is probably why she’s teamed up with a woman who isn’t exactly known for her socially conscious leanings. For her FashioNXT collection, she chose a dress designed by a former Project Runway contestant.
It’s not hard to see why, considering that St. Clair is one of the most recognizable stars of the show. While she might not have gotten the most votes, she managed to make the top 10 most voted queens. Moreover, she was one of the most popular contestants during the early stages of the competition.
While she’s not the only one who’s made a splash, it’s fair to say that her biggest claim to fame has been her participation in RuPaul’s Drag Race. Her first appearance was during season 10. A few weeks later, she was cast as a member of the official competition. Since then, she’s been a fixture on the network, competing in the main event every season. She’s also participated in other shows, such as All Stars and RuPaul’s Best Dressed. However, she’s still waiting for her soul mate to enter her life.
Other than her drag escapades, she’s also made the most of her music career. Her single “Call My Life” is a rousing introspective club banger. What’s more, it’s accompanied by some clever gimmicks, such as cameos from fellow Drag Race starlets. Another fun fact about this song is that it’s written by Kade Gottlieb, an American drag performer who is better known as Gottmik.
On her most recent project, she’s also partnered up with Ben Rimalower, a talented director and filmmaker. They’re putting together a “Legally Blair” show. The concept is simple: they’ll feature nonbinary performers as well as a selection of ‘transgender’ performers in a way that’s both entertaining and educational. Not only will the production be entertaining, but it will also be informative, introducing audiences to some of the newest talent to hit the stage.
Overall, she’s been a whirlwind of activity and not only is she a bona fide celebrity, she’s also been a good friend to the LGBTQ community.
