WWE’s latest controversy centers around the controversial words used by Hulk Hogan and his comments regarding black people. While the WWE had previously fired Hogan for his racist comments, the Hulkster has now apologised and been re-instated as Terry Bollea. Though many of his black wrestler peers were supportive of Hulk, the New Day and Titus O’Neil wanted more from the former world champion.

Although Hogan apologized for the incident at Wrestlemania 35, not everyone has accepted the controversial comments. Big E feels that everyone deserves a second chance, and he believes that the apology will go a long way. Big E was one of the wrestlers who had issues with Hogan’s return to the company last year. Although Hogan did apologize for his racist remarks, many other wrestlers felt that he didn’t mean it when he said them.

Hulk Hogan was reinstated and made his first appearance on WWE television for over two decades. Hulk Hogan introduced H-Phone, a spin on iPhone, in Raw’s January 4, 2021 episode. He also appeared on a backstage segment alongside Jimmy Hart, where Hulk Hogan praised Drew McIntyre’s performance at the championship main event.
