Graceland Christmas Village House Gets a Holiday Makeover

The best time to tour Graceland is during the holiday season. Not only is there plenty of holiday cheer to be had, but Elvis and his entourage are still around to share their love of all things music related. Plus, there will be plenty of festive concerts to get you in the Christmas spirit. Whether you’re visiting for a short weekend getaway or planning a long stay, there’s no shortage of holiday fun and frolic.

Graceland’s Christmas-themed triumvirate of tours, concerts, and specials will be available from November 18 through January 9. This year’s lineup of events and activities will be bigger and better than ever, with a host of surprises and a dash of awe to boot. Among the festive flurry is a nativity scene, a sleigh, and a life-size narrated movie based on the hit film Graceland. If that’s not enough, visitors can also look forward to Santa making an appearance, along with a bevy of other elves.

One of the best parts of Graceland’s holiday offerings is that it’s completely free to view. Visitors will also have the chance to check out the famous Blue Suede Shoes, Elvis’ favorite guitar, and a host of other memorabilia from the King. Of course, you’re not going to want to miss the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony, which is a big deal in and of itself. You’ll have the opportunity to see some of the mansion’s finest and brightest lights up close.

Although it’s not the most jolly ol’ elf, the Graceland Guest House will get a nice holiday makeover. A host of festive fare will be in store, from festive meals to holiday shopping opportunities. Additionally, the hotel’s spa is offering a few seasonal treatments and services to woo the ladies. It’s also worth a peek at the guest rooms, which will be filled with special holiday touches. And if you’re looking for a unique gift to bring home, you won’t find many more unique items than the ones found at the Guest House.

The best way to experience the splendor of the festive flurry is to take a guided tour of Graceland. While you’re there, don’t forget to stop by the Mansion and check out the Illuminated and Musical Porcelain display. This is one of the best examples of holiday decor to hit the road in a decade. Also, a special holiday concert will be held at the Soundstage at Graceland, the venue’s most high-profile event of the year. Moreover, the property will also be launching a series of new holiday promotions, including its first-ever hotel package.
