A Look at Actor Gilles Marini
Gilles Marini, best known for his roles as Luc Laurent on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters and Angelo Sorrento on ABC Family drama Switched at Birth, also starred on Hot in Cleveland for TV Land and competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 8 (where he placed second). Most recently he appeared as Sebastien Dussault on Devious Maids as well as Harris Goldberg’s film The List.
Marini is represented by Vikram Dhawer of Authentic Entertainment and Patti Felker at Felker Toczek. He is currently filming Waiting for Anya, an historical drama depicting how two shepherds and widows helped smuggle Jewish children across France’s border into Spain during World War II – co-starring Noah Schnapp (Stranger Things), Sadie Frost (Nocturnal Animals) and Jean Reno (Alex Cross: Chapter 3 – Parabellum).
Gilles Marini, known for his acting work and modelling as well, has also appeared in films and TV shows including Sex and the City (2008) as well as guest spots on Modern Family, Castle, 2 Broke Girls and Ugly Betty. Additionally he modeled for Giorgio Armani fashion house as well as appearing in multiple commercials.
Recently he made an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s midseason comedy for NBC, Are You There Vodka It’s Me Chelsea. As a French chef he quickly caught Chelsea Handler’s attention – becoming her instant attraction!
Today marks the premiere of ABC’s third season of Modern Family and actor Josh is set to make an appearance as Julian, whom Cameron and Mitchell mistakenly assume is gay but who Claire finds out is straight after inviting him out with her.
He will continue his appearances on ABC Family drama Switched at Breast and will soon begin filming director Harris Goldberg’s romantic comedy The List with Jennifer Morrison, Patrick Fugit and Eddie Kaye Thomas as co-stars. Additionally he is set to have a recurring role on HBO series The Leftovers. “Moms’ Night” will air March 31 on the network and feature special guest Gilles Marini – watch this clip below to watch him in action!
