Eric Goldberg York Maine

Eric Goldberg was born in 1946 and studied at Parsons School of Design, The New School for Social Research and New York University. Over thirty years he taught painting, printmaking and drawing in colleges and universities. Eric has also won many awards with his works being held in many private and public collections worldwide. Eric is a member of both The Society of American Graphic Artists as well as Printmakers Network of Southern New England.

Eric’s clients entrust him with managing complex and highly publicized hotel and commercial real estate development and acquisition transactions in some of the United States’s most high-profile markets and industries. Eric has also assisted them with purchasing large loan and asset portfolios (including mezzanine financings ) as well as restructuring real estate debt in receiverships, foreclosures, and bankruptcies.

Greenberg Traurig law firm of New York City recognized him by Super Lawyers magazine as a Top Rated Elder Law Attorney. Additionally, he serves as co-chair for the Elder Law Section at Essex County Bar Association and as member of Elder Counsel, Financial Planning Association of New Jersey Healthcare Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, he is admitted to practice before state and federal courts of New Jersey New York as well as District of Columbia courts.

He and his wife, Judith, are parents to two children. He hails from New York City and earned both his undergraduate degree at Cornell University’s ILR School and law degree at Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law – earning both in 1994.

Most importantly though, the couple are proud parents and believe every child should have access to quality school systems – hence why they support a resolution which would end selective admissions policies in New York City schools.
