Elvis and Vernon Presley are the two most famous people of all time. The former was a rock ‘n’ roll singer, while the latter was a self-made mogul. Despite their accomplishments, they still faced struggles in their hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi. For a while, the Presley family was considered a poor one, and they didn’t have much. However, the fortune began to smile on them.

In the late ’50s, Elvis Presley was stationed in Germany. Upon his return, he discovered that his mother, Gladys, was having trouble with her health. Fortunately, Elvis was granted leave to visit her in the hospital, but she passed away just two days after he got there. She died of cirrhosis of the liver.

Before her death, she was convinced that Elvis was destined for great things. She was also pregnant with twins, and one baby was stillborn. This led to a lot of worry, and her high blood pressure was a big concern. But, she had other issues as well.

While he was a superstar, Elvis never forgot to take care of his parents. He and his father, Vernon, took care of the finances. They lent money to other musicians, and provided food for his employees.

Elvis and Priscilla Beaulieu were married in 1967, nine months after Gladys’ death. When they got married, Priscilla became a full-fledged member of the Presley family. Despite their separation, they maintained a close relationship. Their daughter, Lisa Marie, was born in 1969. A year later, they divorced.

During the divorce, Priscilla was involved in a romance with Mike Stone. Priscilla and Elvis’ relationship broke down after 1972. Despite their difficulties, Priscilla was a close and loyal friend of Elvis’. Although Priscilla did leave Elvis for Mike Stone, they maintained a friendly and tender relationship.

One of the perks of being a celebrity is that you can see a lot of people in the same place at the same time. Among them was a former pageant queen named Linda Thompson. At first, she was reluctant to take a plane to Memphis, but eventually agreed. Even so, she didn’t want to be a distraction to Elvis’ dad. And the main reason for this was that she didn’t want to interfere with his darkest hour.

Another notable mention was the book that three of Elvis’ former bodyguards wrote. The title of the book was the “Elvis the Magnificent.” It was a clever and fun way to describe the many ways that Elvis impacted the lives of millions of fans. Some of the most impressive feats included the fact that he donated the USS Potomac to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

There was a time when the best part of the show was seeing the audience scream and squeal in response to the music that Presley was playing. At the same time, there was another fan who didn’t get to hear much. What’s more, Elvis Presley was paid $1 million per picture.
