No matter your opinion of Roth, there’s no question that he stands out among musicians of his ilk as one of the greatest icons ever. An exceptional frontman and rock star.
Roth hasn’t played live with a band for some time now and, like others who have taken a hiatus from performing, has taken some time off from performing.
David Lee Roth has made his long-awaited return to rock stage since leaving it behind during the 90s, touring both with other bands as well as working on his own music.
Over the years, Roth has released numerous singles but this album marks his first new work in 27 years and will include brand new songs with Roth on vocals.
Roth is recording his solo album at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles with current members of his solo band including guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler and drummer Francis Valentino – which are expected to release it digitally via download sometime around 2020.
