Comings And Goings Days Of Our Lives 2022

Comings and Goings on Days of Our Lives, 2022

After a two-week hiatus, Days of Our Lives is back and it’s time for some big changes on the NBC soap opera. Popular actors such as Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux), Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes return as Doug and Julie respectively; Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) and Freddie Smith (Sonny) return as Jeremiah and Clyde respectively.

On March 18, Freddie Smith will return as Sonny on Days of Our Lives. He and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) head off to Seattle with their kids Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

Lucas Horton will return to confront the loss of his mother, Kate Roberts. Her illness was brought about by a toxin given her by Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

Recently, Tripp Johnson was seen jumping out the window to rid Salem of the evil that’s been wreaking havoc in the town. Thankfully, he survived but his relationship with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) took an unfortunate turn.

Despite his predicament, he will not die on the show but instead be recast as a young doctor in another city. Indeed, there’s likely another appearance from him to take on the iconic role of Dr. Danielle Carter.

In the coming month, Salem welcomes more recasts, including Andriana Manfredi as JJ’s girlfriend Roxanne Trenton. She will appear alongside Casey Moss as JJ.

Melissa Archer will return as Serena Mason in an upcoming episode. This new character has been linked to Melanie’s wealth and it appears she’ll be the next beneficiary of that fortune.

Victoria Konefal’s character Ciara Brady and her newborn daughter Ben Weston have managed to escape Satan’s possession, but the actress won’t be staying on Salem forever. She signed a contract that will see her character continue until the end of season 58.

Other expected comebacks include:

On February 17th, Wally Kurth will return to Salem for a long-overdue visit with his TV wife Adrienne (Judi Evans). This will be his second time in Salem as he was last seen here last year when he left Dubai to pursue a career.

He’s back for good this May.

Alison Paige will return as Bev on June 19 for more scenes with Galen Gering (Rafe), Guy Wilson (Will) and Freddie Smith (Sonny). After taking a year off from the show, Alison Paige had been longing to reprise her role for many years.

Olivia Rose Keegan has joined the cast of DAYS as Claire. She joins Kristian Alfonso as Hope, Daniel Cosgrove as Aidan, Suzanne Rogers as Maggie and many more in supporting roles.

Another big departure has been announced this week: Aaron and Griffin Kunitz will be departing the show on May 23. Their mom Jane Kunitz shared the sad news on Twitter.
