Christie Brinkley, 67 years old and author of Sports Illustrated 1981, was born in Monroe, Michigan but moved with her family to Los Angeles at an early age. Her mother Marjorie Brinkley married TV writer Donald Brinkley and they adopted Christie and her brother Michael.
