The Beverly Hills affair in the Garden is an annual art event held along four blocks of historic Beverly Gardens Parkway between Rodeo and Rexford Drives. This free public arts festival showcases works by 250 acclaimed artists from around the globe in a captivating array of paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints that will enthrall both serious collectors and casual visitors alike.

Every spring and fall, Affaire in the Gardens presents the finest contemporary and traditional arts and culture. With entertainment as well as family-friendly programming, there is something for everyone at this show. In 2011, events include art tours, a dance performance, artists’ award ceremony, in-booth artist demonstrations and a special exhibit curated by Los Angeles Art Association.

Affaire in the Garden

Since 1973, Affaire in the Garden (also known as “Art Show”) has been held annually on Beverly Gardens Parkway. It’s a free outdoor arts festival that attracts over 50,000 visitors annually with its varied selection of artists from across America offering both high-end and affordable offerings.

One of the major draws at the Art Show is “Garden Gallery,” featuring works by over 250 local and national artists on three levels. Here, visitors can explore various styles such as modern, classical, and contemporary through different displays.

At this annual event, some of the artists represented include Alicia Barnett, Aimee Devine, John DiMartino, Joachim Fauth, Mark Foss, Peter Hutton, Scott Kline and Yves Latour – just to name a few! You’ll also find artwork from local artisans in various mediums such as paintings, ceramics and jewelry.

Another notable attraction is the Electric Fountain, illuminated at night with colored lights. Constructed in 1931, this fountain features a 20-foot tall column supporting a statue of an American Indian kneeling in prayer.

In addition to the Art Show, Beverly Gardens is a popular park featuring an electric fountain and other attractions. It also houses the Beverly Hills Art Museum as well as a playground.
